The following conversation took place at breakfast on Saturday before Samuel was born.
Will: I came into your room this morning while you were still asleep.
Joel: What did we look like?
Will: (Sort of closes his eyes.)
Me: What did Daddy sound like?
Will: A pig.
I've been telling Joel he snores badly! Now someone else agrees with me.

That is so funny!
As a former snorer (seriously, it's all in my past), I'm so glad Dan doesn't blog. These are the exact stories he would be telling! Just yesterday he took a picture of me. I had fallen asleep sitting up, with my head bobbing. Not pretty.
I've been sleeping sitting up for almost 6 weeks! Sam is in our room in a pack n play. I sit in a glider (also in my room) to feed him. At night I fall asleep every feeding. Sometimes I wake up in a couple of minutes, sometimes it's a couple of hours. NOT good sleep, either. The result is Sam snacks his way through the night. VERY very bad habits for both of us but I'm having a hard time breaking it!
Oh, I totally remember doing that!!! It's such a hard habit to break, though, because you're not even aware of doing it in the first place!
Hello and thanks for your comment on my blog! I noticed in your profile that you have 4 very young children, and it reminded me of myself just a few years ago! My kids are currently 6,8,10&12 -- so we've emerged into a new chapter (thankfully). You're in much demand right now, aren't YOU?! Have a great weekend. =)
