Wal-Mart Prices Matches!
By
Stephanie Kay
On a recent shopping excursion to the Wal-Mart Super Center I stopped at their front desk and asked about their price matching policy.
1. Bring the flyers for other stores with you (circle the items you plan to buy to make things easier checking out).
2. They match prices for ALL items. Produce. Meat. Non-perishable. Toiletry products. Etc.
3. They will NOT match "buy one get one free."
4. Tell the checker before she rings the item. She needs to do a price over-ride.
Instead of going to all the stores for sales just go to Wal-Mart. You can save grocery money, gas money AND time.

I've been a price matcher for YEARS.
The best time I've found to price match at WM is the day after Thanksgiving. I usually take the Best Buy and Toys R Us ads and get them to match stuff from there saving me trips to additional stores.
The key is being organized. Also, when I put stuff on the belt at WM, I group all my PM stuff together and warn the cashier that I have lots of stuff to PM. They usually roll their eyes at me, but I'm proud of the fact that I save money this way, so I don't care. :)
i know i should do this, but i have come to hate walmart! i used to be such a fan, but now i am a big avoider. i can not imagine asking the sales clerk to annoy me. i am lucky to just get through the check out line!
I'm having to do a jealousy-check right now. This is like the 104th reason I wish we had Super Centers here. San Diego has "the big box law", and will not allow any Wal-marts to be big enough to have grocery stores in them. Okay, I'm going to sit and pray to be grateful.
