Prayer for Cookies

"Jesus, help us eat cookies." - Ellie, 2 years.

This is Ellie's most often said prayer. Daddy obliged her and made sugar cookies after Christmas with all three kids.

What cute things do your children say when they pray?

How cute. We always say the same prayer in either English or Portugese, Jesus thank YOu for this food Amen.

Well...at good night prayer time when asked to pray...sometimes he prays that God would bless the food to his body. And sometimes he thanks God for the minutes (5 more minutes).

My kids always said Now I lay me down to sleep but they're grown now so I don't know what they say...probably not that.

I can't wait until Silas is able to talk more. Ellie and this picture is so cute! We say thank you Lord for this food and for providing it for us. Silas can say Amen now.

I am finally up to date with your latest post and I just love them, very helpful and funny. I would really love to see your home management binder. Amy mention having a get together with the Grace Harbor girls wanting to know more about home management but I also want to know about kid stuff. Maybe sometime, or I would love just to hang out. After our house is done I will be a little more focused. Oh and I love the blog no time for flash cards thanks and thanks for putting time into this blog.

Steven thanks Jesus for every item on his plate - and the other day he said thanks for the plate, too! The girls laughed and said it was silly, but we reminded them how every little thing is truly given to us from God. I love the innocence and sincerity of toddler prayers!

I am loving hearing what other kids are praying. Listening to my children pray sincere prays and sing praise songs are some of my favorite things about being a mom!

There was also the time that Steven prayed 'thank you Jesus that Obama's at work' Which led Ann and I to stop talking politics while the kids are awake.

It was actually convicting, since I was so busy being irritated at how politics had been turning out, that my 2 year old knew our Christian responsibility better than I did.
