We haven't gone to all of our local parks this summer but we did make a trip to one we seldom visit - Roger Williams Park Playground. It's a little farther away than our normal parks, much bigger, and usually very crowded.
The park has 3 huge play structures designed for different skills and abilities. Of course Sam didn't think he should be stuck on the baby structure.
Sam has recently developed a love for slides. He thought this one was a lot of fun.
Ellie thought the baby tunnel was a lot of fun.
Sam did, too. They both crawled in and climbed on the tunnel.
Will and Ben recognized Mr. Potatohead and enjoyed climbing on him.
Everyone declared Roger Williams Park Playground to be a lot of fun. If they always leave so peacefully we might play there more often.
What is your family's favorite playground and why?

That Mr. Potato Head is AWESOME!
Carrie, Hasbro (the makers of Mr. Potatohead) is based in Rhode Island. Abut 10 years ago the RI tourism council had a bunch of different Mr. Potato Heads designed and built. Then they were scattered across the state. The idea was that people would drive all over the state to see them (and would spend money in the process). The official name for the playground we visited is Hasbro Something or Other Playground. Which means they paid a bunch of money so their names on it. :)
That place looks great - love the last picture!
Cute pictures! Love the peace-loving hand-holding at the end :) I lived just north of Rhode Island for a year in Mass, and I LOVED RI. The park idea is a great thing!
We love a good park! (And the extra energy that is burned off, too, that always helps.)
I LOVE that last picture! So sweet! Looks like another great playground.
Looks like a fun day! Micah is asking to go back to Slater Park...funny what they miss! :)
oh my! You almost have me in vacation planning mode!! We definitely want Caleb to see where he was born @ some point and Ethan's favorite thing in life is Mr Potato Head.
He would ABSOLUTELY LOVE this. Are they there permanently?
