Joel was disappointed that the parents didn't get to touch and hold also. NOT me. The man doing the presentation was really great though. He had a lot of other reptiles as well. He does birthday parties which made me wonder how much he charges. That might be a father-son ONLY party. = )

you probably would find the girls in our family doing this before the boys. sierra loves the snakes (well so does dakota) but daddy absolutely hates them! he won't even pet them.

i am not a huge fan, but for some reason they scare me less than fast creepy crawly things like mice!

Good for Will! (at least I think that is Will & not Ben, his face is kind of hard to see). That is so cool that he was not afraid.

And the family nights at the library sound great.

OK on second thought - of course that is Will - you even put William in the comments - really I can pay attention to details!

Too bad Joel didn't get to handle the snake. Was Ben brave enough this time to touch an animal? You have a good community library system there.

Good for him for being so brave! I tried to take The Bean to see a snake presentation at the library last month. She would not sit still and we had to leave before they even got started. It was not a good day for focusing. I think she'll do better as she gets a little older though.
