The rest of the day is spent:
organizing our basement play room,
sorting everyone's fall/winter clothes,
celebrating Will's 8th birthday,
and taking field trips (Fishing Derby with Cub Scouts).
Our summer is off to a fun and busy start! As we enjoy our summer break I'll be around here less. Instead I'm taking my own advice from these posts:

Definitely looks like a fun summer -- and this looks like a fun place! I'll be back!
Thanks, Laura! We have quite a mix of projects and fun for this summer. Hopefully we'll get it all in - along with a few days of doing nothing. :)
You look like you might be having just a LITTLE bit of fun in there. (Love that quilt on the bed, btw!) We're off to enjoy our first vacation of the summer this weekend. I SO can't wait.
The basement organization looks like quite a project. But I know you love to organize, so that should be no problem, right? School ended the week before Memorial Day for us, so we have been in summer mode for a little while. I am really enjoying it - I thought I would miss the "me time" but I am having so much fun with my girl, I haven't really noticed.
A friend of mine does a summer wish list with her kids. I thought that was a really good idea. She makes sure that the wishes are not crazy - they usually include things like play date with so and so, go out for ice cream, go to the zoo, etc. Thought it was a fun way to help the kids "plan" their summer vacation.
I LOVE the 8th birthday picture! He has grown so much!! I love the quilt, too! :) Happy Summer! Christie
