Quote of the Day - Languages

"Uncle Stephen speaks another language." - Will, age 5.

You should know Uncle Stephen is my brother. He lives in Arkansas, raises cows and hunts deer. He speaks English - just not Rhode Island English! LOL!

I really gotta get that boy down South where people talk right (said with a twang).

    My kids certainly picked up on the twang...and they're still adding extra syllables to their words. Hilarious.

    OK - that is the funniest thing I have ever read! Since we speak Rhode Islandese and live in KY - I completely understand. People here think we speak another language and vice versa. Sometimes I just don't know what people are talking about even after 4.5 years!
